Localization and translation of Mac OS X software

maclocalization.org is a non-profit organization with the aim of assisting developers of non-commercial software.

If you are distributing your product as freeware, shareware, open source etc. we can help you have your software localized and the accompanying documentation, website, etc. translated to many languages.

Why are we doing this?

We believe that Mac OS X is a terrific operating system and we wish to help promote its use to as many people as possible.

Why free service for developers?

We think that developers of non-commercial software should be given the possibility to promote their product outside the borders of their native language.

Is it really free?

If you develop an app that is distributed in a non-commercial way than we will try our best to provide you with free localization and translation. Everybody is of course welcome to donate money or licences to the people that work on their project and/or maclocalization.

How are we doing it?

We keep a database of contributors (localizers, translators, testers etc.). All these people will help you get your software into a foreign market.

How are we financing this all?

We depend on the generosity of people that want to help and can't contribute in any other way. We also receive donations from developers and other contributions. If you have any suggestions please feel free to e-mail us.

Part of the web server and manpower necessary for this are financed by eurosolutions.net, maclocalization.com and l10nwizard, our for-profit ventures.

If you are developing commercial software and would like to receive a quote for localization of your software and/or translation of documentation, web sites, marketing materials etc. please e-mail or visit maclocalization.com.
